Inmate found dead in Otter Tail Co. jail

Authorities are investigating the death of an inmate at Minnesota’s Otter Tail County Jail.

At about 12:20 this (Thu) morning, a 28-year-old woman was found unresponsive during a check at the jail.

Corrections staff, law enforcement and paramedics tried to revive the woman, but she was declared dead.

The woman was taken to the morgue at Lake Region Hospital for an autopsy.
